Centre for advanced learning(cfal) students excel in IIT-JEE 2012

14 students of cfal’s second batch of IIT- JEE training selected in IIT-JEE-2012

14 students trained at cfal, Kuntikan – Mangalore have been selected in the IIT-JEE 2012 the results of which were declared today. A total of 5,07,634 students gave the IIT-JEE on 8th April 2012 across the country. All these candidates competed to be eligible for counseling culminating in finding a place in 9,590 seats available in 15 IITs. The competition is very tough as only one out of 53 candidates is likely to make it to the IITs. 796 students appeared from the Mangalore centre which was held at NITK Suratkal.

cfal had trained 30 students in its second batch and that the training was for 2 years consisting of 1400 hours of class room training, tests and mock exams. Experienced and dedicated professors mentor the students and the course material is unique. It has been tailor-made for professional entrance exams including JEE, AIEEE, CET and BITSAT. Quality is the main focus at cfal. Constant monitoring and individual attention to students has contributed to this phenomenal results. In the IIT-JEE 2011 too the institute could bring out good results with 8 of their students out of 30 trained at the centre making it to the selected list.

The IIT’s are the most prestigious engineering institutions in India and are renowned throughout the world. Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is the entrance exam for the IIT’s and it tests candidate’s proficiency in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Admission would be granted based on all India rank, category  rank and the choices submitted by the candidates at the time of counseling. Students getting admissions in IIT’s and successfully completing all the engineering degree assured of good placements and plum jobs. As per MHRD, GOI directives IIT-JEE 2012 is the last such competitive examination which will be replaced by a single entrance exam ISEET(Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test) – the new national level examination that will test class 12 students for their aptitude for science and engineering 2013 onwards.

There was a general opinion that getting into IIT was extremely difficult if not impossible and hence in engineering, AIEEE or CET was the only choice. cfal had started the training program with the aim of changing this paradigm and the results speak for themselves. This establishes the truth that we have very intelligent students in this region but there had been a lack of proper guidance and information. Now that cfal has overcome this void, students of this region can avail this facility as is locally available.

cfal is located at Kuntikan junction in Mangalore and principal Mrs.Severine Rosario can be contacted at 2249220/9845737120.
