Centre for advanced learning (cfal) students excel in AIEEE 2012
17 students of cfal within State Rank 825
17 students out of 30 trained at centre for advanced learning (cfal), Kuntikan – Mangalore have made it within the top 825 merit list (state level) in AIEEE 2012. About 11 lakh students appeared for AIEEE 2012 across the country. All these students competed to be eligible for seats available in 30 National Institutes of Technologies and other government funded institutions. The competition is very tough. After the country’s prestigious engineering examination IIT-JEE, AIEEE is considered to be the next best choice for enthusiastic students aspiring to take up careers in engineering.
In IIT- JEE 2012, cfal could bring out good results with 14 of their students being selected for counseling. This is the highest selections from Mangalore in IIT-JEE 2012. Three students from cfal have been selected for Kishore Vaigyani fellowship in 2012.
CFAL had trained 30 students in its second batch and that the training was for 2 years consisting of 1400 hours of class room training, tests and mock exams. Experienced and dedicated professors mentor the students and the course material is unique. It has been tailor-made for professional entrance exams including JEE, AIEEE, CET and BITSAT. Quality is the main focus at cfal. Constant monitoring and individual attention to students has contributed to these phenomenal results.
The NIT’s are the most prestigious engineering institutions in India and are renowned throughout the world. AIEEE is the entrance exam for the NIT’s and it tests candidate’s proficiency in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Admission would be granted based on all India rank, category rank and the choices submitted by the candidates. Students getting admissions in NIT’s and successfully completing the engineering degree are assured of good placements and plum jobs. The special attraction for the Karnataka students is that at NITK Surathkal, 50% of the seats are reserved to them.
There was a general opinion that getting into NIT’s was extremely difficult if not impossible and hence in engineering, CET was the only choice. cfal had started the training program with the aim of changing this paradigm and the results speak for themselves. This establishes the truth that we have very intelligent students in this region but there had been a lack of proper guidance and information. Now that cfal has overcome this void, students of this region can avail this facility as is locally available.
cfal is located at Kuntikan junction in Mangalore and the principal Mrs.Severine Rosario can be contacted at 2249220/9845737120.
